Local Artist Spotlight - Drew Wynn

This is something new here. Its main purpose is to help music fans in Hampton Roads to get to know the people behind the great music.

    Name: Andrew Blake Wynn (Drew)

Job: drummer for The Next Best Thing, student

    Birthday: 6-15-83

Bands currently listening to: Count Me Out, Elliott, Bane, Mouthpiece, In My Eyes, Strike Anywhere

If you could play in any band of all time, what band would it be?: I would definitely say Kid Dynamite, because they were so good for the short amout of time they were around. Everything they put out was awesome, and their live show is incredible and energetic.

Favorite local band: My favorite local band back in the day was Lost Tribe but they seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth, and I matured more in my selection of music, so now it is definitely Project 208.

Favorite venue, past or present: Past was definitely the Kempsville Ruritan because you could do shows there and actually be able to pay bands the money they deserve, without the venue taking half of the door. Now my favorite would have to be Cogan's.
